An Instructor's Not So Comprehensive Guide to Designing
Instructional Support in an On-line Environment

FORMS

One Web-based method for collecting assignments and/or assessments is through the use of HTML Forms. Like "normal" paper homework/classwork assignments, HTML Forms use designated fields in which the student enters the required information. Once the "Submit" button is activated, the Form is automatically forwarded to the instructor's e-mail box.

This on-line mapping assignment illustrates the power of HTML forms and was developed using Adobe PageMill 2.0 and the Response-O-Matic template. Response-O-Matic provides the CGI scripting required to make this Form work. This form must be a resident on a server in order for it to work.

Another site for the development and use of HTML Forms is Freedback.
